Breastfeeding is for everyone.
Stereotypically, people have believed that breastfeeding only belonged to a certain group of people. The truth is that breastfeeding is for everyone who chooses it. No matter your background or identity, you and your baby deserve to be supported with dignity and respect. Breastfeeding belongs to single parents, married couples, unmarried couples, young adults, older parents, crunchy moms, silky moms, working parents, stay-at-home parents, trans and non-binary parents, bi-racial and multicultural families, adoptive and foster parents, military families, religious and non-religious families, LGBTQ+ parents, parents of all socioeconomic backgrounds, and beyond. Breastfeeding is a universal right, not a limited privilege.
